奇妙な漢字タトゥー彫ってる外人サンっているよね
仕事の合間に漢字タトゥーのサイト見てたら変なのがいっぱいあるある

「恋痛い」は「broken heart」かもしれないけど・・
「抱腹絶倒」って何なのよ・・日本語理解力が痛い彫師だったのか・・？
でもコレはさ、そんなに笑いたいなら仕方ない、許す
けど「台所」ってのはさぁ・・、これはないだろーよ？
彫師は悪くないなきっと、こんな単純な単語は間違えないだろ
「kitchen」って言ったんだろオマエが


奥田英朗の小説「サウスバウンド」内のエピソード

沖縄で出会ったアメリカ人が奇妙な日本語の刺青をしていた
主人公が尋ねてみると
語るも涙と言う風にそのアメリカ人は答えた。
「日本語で Star って何て言うのかって聞いたら、こう教えられたんだよ・・・」
そのアメリカ人の身体には「芸能人」と彫ってありました・・・。

これ読んだとき笑いが止まらなくなって、思い出し笑いもしつこく続いて・・
こういうシーンでの奥田英朗のセンスって異様に凄いんだよなー

奥田英朗は手練れの職業作家で
彼が殆どのフィールドを横断可能なのはその作品群から明らかですね
「最悪」「邪魔」「真夜中のマーチ」「マドンナ」「ガール」「オリンピックの身代金」
感心するのはシノプシス構築の巧みさと、作品によって変化するドライブ・スピード感だが
それとは別に、「小道具としての言葉」の配置・挿入の妙に惹かれます
卓越な小説に手腕を発揮する一方、エッセイも見事な彼
「泳いで帰れ」「用もないのに」の職人芸には痺れます、笑いが止まりません
中年作家の皮肉・愚痴・ぼやきの羅列が「芸」になってます

奥田英朗エッセー「読み聞かせ」ポッドキャストとかあったらさ
酒飲みながら聞きたいなぁ・・

「芸能人」「台所」と彫られてしまった人・・・
すごくお気の毒ですが、笑いは止まりませんでした(^^;
例がパッと出て来ませんが、外人さんが着ている変な日本語がプリントされたTシャツも
時々映像の中などで見かけますよね？（笑）

奥田英朗さんは読んだことがないのですが
エッセイが気になったので今度手にとってみます。

こんなT着た日本人を見たことあります。
スゲー派手な色彩のTシャツの胸にデカデカと英語のプリント。
その単語は「SHY」(爆) 何だかな・・・(-｡-;

この人たち　温泉さ　はいらんにぇんだべしたね。
もごさいごと　（かわいそうだこと）
土曜日に開運の湯に行ってきたの。
良いお湯だった。
こんな気分もできないなんてかわいそう。

盛岡を満喫してますね。盛岡は市内も近隣も温泉が豊富なんですよ、まっ火山が豊富ですから(^^;)

刺青のお話はあらあらという感じですが、逆に自分たちも横文字のTシャツとかよく意味もわからず着てたりして…と思ったり…。ねこちゃんんも、グラスもお写真とても素敵ですね。…申し遅れましたが、先日はご訪問いただきありがとうございました。

I must say that I very much agree with Mr. York. As Christians we should know full well that our “home” is not this planet, country, let alone it’s political system. Our governments on all levels are corrupt. The democratic system does not accuratey address all of our problems. We have a majority who get their way on what they “think” is right. That is the problem. What “we” “think is right” is horribly off target for the good of this country. Politics has become a game of feeding the masses “it’s all about me kool-aid” without truly thinking of the consequences. Illegal immigrants have influence on the elections when they shouldn’t. The poor have influence that they continually want more and more without understanding the costs involved. The government workers all want their “guaranteed pensions” when in many states they are underfunded. (it is quite arrogant of government workers to get such a plan on the back of the taxpayers, many of which don’t have pensions.) This and a slew of other issues that americans don’t want to address or government does not have the spine to change. We are weak and selfish. Nothing is going to change. That is why I am done voting. Christians are to follow Jesus and not the broken system of man and his government. Remember, when you vote, you keep the broken, corrupt machine going.

I would be horrified and furious if I was served Johnny’s fish course in a restaurant. I would send it back. Full of gimmicks and no substance. A couple of tinned anchovies do not a fish course make. I would say that I think there’s a slight clash of personalities between Marcus and Johnny but regardless, the score was appropriate.
